Introducing Blynk Blueprints Beta! With this new tool, you will not just be able to connect a device to our platform in 5 minutes, you can literally create a fully built-out project - with fancy settings and beautiful dashboards - in a matter of minutes.
So what is a Blueprint?
Blueprint is a pre-built IoT project template that includes a web and mobile dashboard, firmware examples, and a step-by-step tutorial to activate and start using the project!
A Blueprint can be anything from an air quality monitor, or a hydroponics IoT solution to an asset tracker, or a simple weather station - some of these are already available.
If you don’t know where to start - find a relevant project among Blueprints and follow the guide to make it work! As the library grows we will be adding search functionality so you could easily find projects by topic, connectivity type (e.g. WiFi, cellular, Ethernet), or MCU (e.g. ESP32, Arduino, Wio Terminal, Particle Boron).
Here’s what you’ll find inside
- Pre-built web and mobile dashboard

- Working firmware created specifically for the project
- List of hardware and software needed
- Step-by-step tutorial on how to run the project
Once you’ve copied it to your templates - you can easily customize the project by adding more widgets, and modifying the code to add new functions on top! Sounds exciting, right?
How many Blueprints are available now?
As with any new functionality, it will be a gradual rollout. You can already find the first 6 Blueprints in the Template section of Blynk.Console. We will be adding more and more Blueprints in the coming months and may even let our community publish their own Blueprints in the future!
Can I find Blueprints in the Blynk app?
Right now Blueprints can only be accessed via Console. But the cool thing is that each Blueprint already includes a pre-set mobile app dashboard for your project! Update your app to the latest version for the ultimate experience.
Completely new to Blynk?
If it’s the first time you are hearing about our platform, Blynk offers a no-code mobile app and web dashboard builder integrated with the cloud.
